The workshop participants were representatives of institutions related to managing urban ecosystems at various levels and expert practitioners. 

After presenting the aims and scope of the project, the meeting organizers discussed its results related to identifying and assessing ecosystem services in urban areas. Representatives of the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research shared Norwegian experiences in this area. The crucial part of the workshop was a discussion on the implementation of ecosystem services in spatial planning and urban development management.
