The workshop was attended by stakeholders involved in managing cultural values through regional and local development policy and spatial planning.
In the first part of the meeting, participants learned about the goals and scope of the project, and then about what cultural services are and why they are worth including in planning activities and promoting the municipality or region. In the next part of the meeting, the organizers presented examples of recognition and evaluation of cultural services. This material inspired a discussion on the conditions, barriers and solutions for shaping cultural services and balancing them with other types of values provided by ecosystems.
